Blues announced on Friday that 2000-born defenceman Carson Tiede has committed to the organization.

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues announced on Friday that 2000-born defenceman Carson Tiede has committed to the organization.

Tiede, from Winnipeg, MB, has spent the previous two seasons with the Selkirk Steelers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). The five-foot-11, 165-pound defender played 52 regular season games with the Steelers during the 2018-2019 campaign, recording seven assists.

Over his two seasons in the MJHL, Tiede has suited up in 95 regular season games and nine playoff games.
