The MJBL All Star Game and Home Run Derby, hosted this year by the Interlake Blue Jays 07/03/19

The MJBL All Star Game and Home Run Derby, hosted this year by the Interlake Blue Jays will take place this Saturday July 6th, at Stonewall’s Quarry Park – the All Star Home Run Derby starts at 11:00am with the All Star Game at 2:00pm.

The game rosters are MJBL all-star players representing the seven teams in the league: 

St James, Elmwood, St Boniface, Carillon, Altona, Pembina Valley, and Interlake.  The game sees the MJBL All Stars from the three city teams take on the All Stars from the four rural teams.

This year, the host team added an All Star Home Run Derby to the program – with each team sending their best hitters to compete in the home run hitting contest.  The Derby will take place on Diamond 2 at 11:00am.    

The All Star Game starts at 2:00pm on Diamond 1 with player, coach and umpire introductions, the national anthem, and the first pitch thrown by the Interlake’s own Blaine Fortin.
